304 / 304L Austenitic Stainless Steel Coil for Food Processing, Chemical & Industrial Applications
304 / 304L Austenitic Stainless Steel Coil is one of the world’s most widely used stainless steel materials, featuring the classic 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel (18/8) composition. It offers outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent formability, superior weldability, and long-term durability, making it suitable for food processing, chemical equipment, architectural decoration, kitchenware, and industrial manufacturing.
The 304L low-carbon grade (Carbon ≤ 0.03%) is specifically designed for welded structures. It minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, eliminating the need for post-weld heat treatment on thick sections. This makes 304L the preferred material for pressure vessels, storage tanks, chemical pipelines, and heavy fabricated components.
Available in both cold rolled and hot rolled products with multiple surface finishes, our 304/304L stainless steel coils meet ASTM and JIS international standards and are available from large ready stock for fast global delivery.
