304 / 304L Austenitic Stainless Steel Coil is one of the world’s most widely used stainless steel materials, featuring the classic 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel (18/8) composition. It offers outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent formability, superior weldability, and long-term durability, making it suitable for food processing, chemical equipment, architectural decoration, kitchenware, and industrial manufacturing.
The 304L low-carbon grade (Carbon ≤ 0.03%) is specifically designed for welded structures. It minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, eliminating the need for post-weld heat treatment on thick sections. This makes 304L the preferred material for pressure vessels, storage tanks, chemical pipelines, and heavy fabricated components.
